Treasure Valley Community College SBDC
An Opportunity to Grow… Together
Treasure Valley Community College BizCenter works with local small businesses, many of which are owned and operated by military service veterans. We see their vision, commitment, and passion for their business and their community. The TVCC BizCenter has hosted four Veterans Small Business Management courses which offer management perspective and focus for our local small businesses. In 2013 our work with veteran owned businesses is shifting. The BizCenter is coordinating monthly meetings to encourage fellowship, learning, and an opportunity to collect peer feedback on each individual business. The session will include guest speakers on topics including branding, advertising, marketing, and sales techniques. The business owner will define: Who are your clients? What are your principal products? Why have you chosen to work in this industry? Their peers will help provide external perspective on how well they are hitting those marks or if they can be refined to run a more efficient business.
